Die legendäre »Action Directe« gilt als eine der berühmtesten Kletterrouten der Welt. Mit ihrer Erstbegehung 1991 war sie die erste 9a der Welt. Bis heute gab es 20 Wiederholungen. Nun sind es 21! Stephan Vogt gelang der Durchstieg. Respekt. Sein Statement: »YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!

Action Directe has been my goal ever since I first layed eyes on it in 2011. My goal to one day climb the most famous sport climb in the world. And then it just happens…
On a rainy day with terrible conditions, the first mono, first important foothold and the entire topout being completely soaked, it happens. I was so sure that I would`t send it that day but I guess that was exactly what I needed. It is such a rewarding feeling to have a goal for so many years and then finally succeed!

Gemeinsam mit Vorjahressieger Jakob Schäfer tickte Stephan die Spieltage in Gießen & Siegen. Unterm Strich stand jeweils Platz 2. hinter Europameister Jan Hojer.
